Uses of Tea Tree Oil

Approximately two years ago, a good friend of mine told me about this wonder oil. I was complaining about some pimples on my forehead and she recommended me to try the tea tree oil. For some of the following applications, I saw the results on myself and some I witnessed on other people around me. I use tea tree oil for the first three of the main uses. It’s very important that you pay close attention to the concentration of the oil! If there is a star (*) next to one of the mentioned benefits you need to dilute the oil! So let’s have a look.

  • Stubborn Pimples
Use a cotton bud, dampen it with one or two drops of tea tree oil and apply it only on your pimple. Repeat once a day until the pimple is gone. The day after the first application, the pimple will be flattened and on the third day, the scar should disappear.
  • Toner*
Mix the tea tree oil with any other oil or liquid you prefer (my recommendations: rose water or almond oil) and apply it as a toner.
  • Face mask
Take one egg white and add 3-5 drops of tea tree oil and apply it to your face. Wait until the face mask gets dry and wash it off.

Infections and Irritations*

Tea tree oil can also be used for disinfecting infections and irritations. Be careful with the amount of the oil. It’s better to dilute the oil before applying.

Take some rose water to dilute 3-7 drops of tea tree oil and apply it to your skin. The rose water will help to refresh yourself and the tea tree oil fights all the bacteria.

Take two tablespoons of honey, two tablespoons of olive oil and add 5-7 drops of tea tree oil. Massage it into your scalp. Let it sit for 15-30 minutes before taking a shower.

I’m very happy with this oil and the results. There are of course many other uses. This oil is amazing. And a little 10ml bottle lasted for about one and a half year! I’m very grateful to the friend who told me about this oil. I hope you can use these tips in your life. Thanks for reading!
