Cinnamon Rolls Recipe

  • 2 ¾ cups of flour
  • 3 tablespoons of sugar / 6 tablespoons of maple sirup
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of instant yeast
  • ½ cup of water
  • ¼ cup of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 large egg


  • ½ cup of butter (softened)
  • 3 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup of  brown sugar/coconut sugar


  • 1 cup of powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2-3 tablespoon coffee (optional)

How to make it:

Step one:

In a large bowl, mix all the dry ingredients until evenly dispersed. Then, in a pot/in the microwave, heat the milk, water and butter. Stir the butter into the flour mixture. At the end add the egg and knead with hand or stand mixer. When the dough is smooth set it aside for 5 minutes.

Step two:

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. (10-15 minutes before placing the rolls in the oven)

Step three:

The filling

Roll out the dough into a rectangle shape. Spread the butter and sprinkle the Cinnamon-Sugar mixture over it. Roll the dough tightly and cut it into 9 pieces. Place it in a (backing) pan.

Step four:

Turn off the oven! And then put in the pan with the rolls. Let the rolls rise for 15 minutes. Keep the rolls in the oven and remove the foil.

Step five:

Turn on the oven again! And let them bake for another 10-20 minutes until golden.

Step six:

Mix the products for the glaze and drizzle it over the rolls! Time to enjoy Cinnamon Rolls! ♥
